a little about me

hi! my name is josie, but you can call me kokoro if you'd like. before you read about this website and its purpose, let me tell you about myself.

im 17, a junior in highschool. i spent most of my childhood drawing fanart and playing games like splatoon, tf2, undertale, and terraria; i hold these games very dearly in my heart still. i started video editing and making my own edits as a hobby in middle school-7th grade. ive been doing that on and off since. i first started coding this website in august, but it was made on september 9th! to this day, i still play those listed games, minus undertale because ive already played that game for far too long (granted its a singleplayer game). i did, however, play deltarune more than 5 times. wonderful game.

im generally a happy-go-lucky person, and ive been told im easy to talk to. dont be shy to reach out if you ever wanna chat! i would love to! my discord is tsihohoho#1738!!!

here is an extended about me.

the purpose of this website

plain and simple, i want this website to be educational and entertaining for me and those who visit.

i plan to add coding resources, cracks for video edits, projects of mine, shrines, and more blogposts. i want everything on here to be valueable or entertaining for somebody out there.

i also plan to frequently update this site and provide stylesheets and html for anyone who wants to see my process or study my code, even if its basic for now. i personally believe that coding is a valuable skill to learn, and it has helped me show my creativity in a different way than the skills i have now.

additionally, i think the web has become too.. social media oriented. i am a big twitter user myself, but i miss the web that had creativity in its websites, personal areas were colorful and easily distinguishable as YOURS, and not just a profile picture and header with a white or black background. its so soulless. while that might be up someone elses alley, its not up mine. so please, if coding interests you at all, try it! neocities is free, there are no ads, and its community is very friendly. im certain that after a while of making a website, you'll see the value in learning the skill as well. even if you cant code, i encourage anyone whos interested to check out others websites. a lot of hard work went into these and ive always found it fascinating to see how others express themselves.

i hope to see you around soon! ^_^ enjoy your stay at the aquarium...
